I feel we have to blow this up a gazillion times and put it on the wall here. During the hot sweltering days we can come home and lick it!
Wow, New Zealand is just beautiful! Not worth going into a mini depression over the rugby. We just loved our time hanging out with you guys and hitting all the national treasures of NZ. But best of all was seeing you all. Before we got there I begged to stay in a fancy pancy hotel and to pay it back I promised to work at Somerville Intermediate. But I just loved that as well. (what a fab. school!) Thanks to you all for making our comeback so enjoyable!

hi all!

Last night I had a dream that the All Blacks lost 77 to 72. I woke feeling gutted and at 5.45 am I went to check out the score on the internet, when we got a call from Debbie, my sister-in-law who spilled the news. Wow, it was like a princess diana moment, a stabbing pain-like grief that is cemented in my mind permanently. Nzers over here were seen walking around in a stunned daze .
I read a commentary just the day before, Wynne Grey I think who said that France didn't have a show against us... why do we say such things? It always bites us in the bum!

Well, at least Aussie got whipped as well.

Things are 'tickidyboo' here, days seem to melt into each other. Emma got a bit sick a few weeks ago and the word was TB. We started panicking but did you know nearly 1/3 of the world has it? Unbelieveable! Anyway, after trooping off to the hospital for check ups galore,we discovered it wasn't TB which was a relief, just an infection.

Hope is all well with you. As I write this daylight saving has started with you all and school kicks off again tomorrow. Relieved mums!

Remember that programme?- hope they are learning how to have fun with a piece of stick and how to do chores properly without complaining. I've given up on that miracle, perhaps Laura and the gang can instill those old beautiful virtues into them!........
